Brian Degas was born to English Parents in Argentina. As a youth, he worked as a writer and director in amateur productions.
He Devised and Created the BBC Colditz TV/MCA Universal co-production Series 28 episode's in 1972-1974
At the age of 21. He took a job in the United States at CBS network as a production trainee in public affairs programming

I James William Yarlett have been very good friends with Mr Brian Degas and Mrs Dene Degas for over 35 years living in the Kent area. we talked for many many hours with so many projects that Mr Brian Degas was involved with over many years and Mrs Dene Degas cooking her lovely meals for us in-between they both have been a great support too me
over many many years which I fully appreciate all that they have both done and been their for me and my family.
Brians death on the 3rd April 2020 age 84 was a great shock. I feel obligated to complete the projects what he had started Colditz TV series to get it remade
hopefully by the directors of Peaky Blinders
as well as his Script The Final Salute may be Danny Boyle directing or others? Also in the pipe line The Legendary Gloria Swanson Movie! and Theatrical rights! of her life which Brian Degas had sealed a major publishing deal with Random House in 1981 for $500,000
